  Beaumaris Castle A World Heritage Site. Built as one of the "iron ring" castles of North Wales by Edward I, to stamp his authority on the Welsh. It was never finished. Nevertheless, it has been called the "most technically perfect Mediaeval Castle in Britain".

  Menai Regatta Each year you will see hundreds of sailing boats racing along the straits
  Caernarfon Castle This world heritage site was intended by King Edward to be a royal residence and seat of government for north Wales.
